Saltwater Groms

Summer surf camp for kids

Three mornings of surf, sun and stoke over the summer holidays. The kind of school break adventure they will be talking about all year.

Mornings made for groms

Our summer camp runs over a few mornings during the holidays, so young surfers get time to settle in, find their confidence and actually improve, all while having an absolute ball.

Each morning builds on the last. The crew starts with catching their first waves, then moves on to riding, steering the board and, before long, their first turns. It is all wrapped up in games, encouragement and plenty of laughs, led by coaches who are qualified, first aid and lifeguard trained.

Common questions

Not at all. The camp is built for first timers and improvers alike, and the coaches meet each grom right where they are.
Togs, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle. We provide the board, wetsuit and rashie.
Very. Our coaches are qualified, first aid and lifeguard trained, groups are small, and the kids are always supervised in the water.
They should be comfortable in waist-deep water. We keep beginners in the shallows with a coach close by.
