The Saltwater Eco crew are super excited to announce that we will be holding our first ever Winter Planting Event on Saturday 17th June 11am – 2pm.
As part of our Sustain Commitment we plant a native tree or shrub for every customer we have at the end of each season: https://
Over the last 18 month’s we’ve taken that concept to a whole new level by actually growing all our own natives from seed. The native trees grown contribute to an ongoing habitat restoration project we’ve been working on for nearly 6 years, 10 minutes drive from Warkworth.
This year we are planting out a new paddock and are keen to “complete the cycle” by inviting our clients and supporters to come and plant their tree (and maybe a few others).
In return you will get a guided tour of the various stages of the project, a tree planting demo and an intro into habitat restoration. We’re also hoping to have a Pot Luck post plant feed and have access to a BBQ so any food/refreshments you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the event will only be able to cater for a limited number of people so reserving your spot with us directly is essential.
